I have the mind of
a madman and the heart of a poet
I have a wee bit of talent but this world don’t know it
I like to dance in the moonlight while the world is at rest
Gazing at a night sky when the stars shine the best
I would like to sing with the angels in the lord’s holy land
I would like to rock with the devil and his all demon band
I am as good as a saint and then bad to the bone
I know what is real I would like to see the unknown
I believe in go for the gusto, I believe in work till you’re done
I believe in rest when you’re tired ,I believe life should be fun
I believe the creature called monkey is where the human race starts
And what separates the two is a wee thing called smarts
I believe most humans boast intelligence, yet they will all fail the
test
They don't follow the law of nature, their lust is for money when it should be for
sex
I believe in the unusual the strange the absurd
I believe the whole world has listened, yet it never has heard
I do not condone violence for violence creates pain
Pain causes dark clouds and dark clouds make rain
I have a taste for the bizarre I crave that which is odd
I know where I’m going, my destination is God
I am on a quest for pure knowledge, an idea I can’t find
I am searching for reason, I am wandering my mind
The truth to existence, the meaning of life
With a touch of imagination I’ll get this mystery right
It is a tale about living it is the story of me
It may seem a bit weird but that is how it must be
These verses have been amusing, these rhymes have been fun
But as these words may end here, they will never be done

We exist as slaves
Desire is our master
The heat is what we crave
It is fire we are after
We must again have
silence
To rid our lives of stress
We must allow peace to find us
And find peace within our flesh
No longer do we want
We know now this is need
The truth is here in front
In this hunger we must feed
We must see beyond
the basic
We must cross the proverbial line
We must grasp and hold and taste it
Our grip is sixty-nine
These bodies we need
to savor
Our souls we need to touch
We must lose ourselves to please
Only love could teach us such
Together we exist as
one
Though the power of our passion
By lust it shall be done
Eternal Satisfaction
Evolution
This is the
beginning, this is the start,
This is where we tear your illusions apart.
Lend us an ear, hear what we say:
This is evolution and how it got us this way.
A lightning flash, a
broken branch,
Some stupid monkey doing some stupid dance.
He fell to the ground when the world got bright,
He didn’t understand it, but he knew it was right
Then a sudden jolt
of pain, a great flash of red,
Mr Monkey took a rock and he whacked his head.
He got a little smart, he’s no longer a dumb lug
He is now called "Caveman" and his name is Doug.
It all makes sense,
he knows what is real,
He got an idea and he created the wheel.
Intelligence came and Doug did grow
There was simply no limit to the things he could know.
As time went by,
things changed again:
From monkey to caveman - from there to Homo Sapien
It’s the evolution of man, the story is true
Darwin was right about both me and you
Where we go next who
really can tell
According to fairy tales its Heaven or Hell
Now this may seem a bit weird, it may even be odd
But we were created by time and not by God
God is the idea,
it’s what we must do
God is where evolution is taking us to
It’s the end of the line, the top of the chain
And from there, who knows? maybe we do it again
Existence is strange, and strange is a fact
But so long as there is truth, then that’s where we're at.
