A  February Dream

Fighting against Morpheus, his spell still does try...
I awaken to the smell of wet pines in the spring,
and Aurora veiled in veils of orange and yellow, and lust;
spinning, and dancing across the morning sky.
A symphony of colors and light,
played to emotions ever so deep.
What in the world could possibly be wrong?

As Apollo rode higher,
drawing the rebirthing Sun across the Eastern sky;
pulled by horses four,
each hoof beat a heartbeat for those who love freedoms song...
As above, so below...
Bathed in the golden rays, steeped in the sight of the Gods,
happiness within me seeps.

Above, the Poet God rode, over the valley,
a green carpet of Gaia's best weave...
The solar chariot is chased, as always,
by Muses nine, each riding upon a sled of enlightenment.
My Soul close behind, chasing on the wings of dreams.
Flight, a fight for what  I wish to be right.

Diana watches, hovering in the morning sky, full and silver bright.
A circle, like a spell cast, drawing me in;
holding me in a Holy loves embrace.
Alone, this dawn I am not!  So surprised.
As Latina sleeps... Her?  She from my past?
The girl with no goodbyes?
Her face unseen, as she dreams.  Snuggled close.
My heart so swelled, that the rhymes no longer beat within.
Lonely prose traded in for red roses...
My scar covered hands her defenders.
My tattooed arms her security blanket.
Pride in my strength and skills abound.
A knight born to protect.  My true calling now known.
A Templar Knight riding west to east, in search of the light.
The Birds sing.  The breeze blows.  Happy I am.  Heaven found.
As Apollo's love shines of  Keats chrome.
My Besom of black and orange.  I squint!

AWAKENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Alone.
Soaked with sweat.  Alone.
The birds have flown.
In the Dark.  Alone.
Apollo Gone.  Alone.
Roses Dead.  Alone.
Coco playing softly in the background.
Alone.  Sad again.
Alone.  Enough said...
The widow weeps,
now the reason known... Alone....
